She serves as a communications consultant for Conflict Resolution, Crisis Communications, Public Speaking and Media Training for Religious leaders and organizations on three continents. She was formerly an executive in lifestyle marketing for Kraft Foods, Discover Card, JCPenney, 3Com, Universal Pictures and more.
Ashley holds a degree in International Business and Marketing from the University of Dayton, OH. She earned a Masters in Theology from Holy Apostles Seminary and a Licentiate (STL) in Communications at Santa Croce. She is a PhD candidate in communications and conflict resolution. Ashley speaks Italian, loves a good cappuccino and sharing Rome with everyone from Romaphiles to first time visitors of all ages.
He's a Wilbur Fellow at the Russell Kirk Center for Cultural Renewal and is pursuing a PhD in BioMedical Ethics at the Regina Apostolorum.
Formerly a professional tap dancer, John loves to cut a rug with his wife and to teach ballroom dancing too.
He enjoys integrating his various academic fields with philosophy, theology, scripture, and Church & Roman history to share the Eternal City.
We were married in February of 2008, and have been enjoying living "la dolce vita" in bella Roma ever since. Our passion is to share our knowledge to help others know and appreciate the riches of Rome as much as we do!
Ashley's a media personality, the Rome Correspondent for the Relevant Radio Network and the former host of the weekly news show Voice of the Vatican on Shalom World TV. She was formerly the English Language Official at the Vatican's Pontifical Council for Social Communications and has been featured on various global TV news networks as an expert on Vatican issues.
She's an Instructor of Media Training at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross and
John's the former Producer of Voice of the Vatican on Shalom World TV and a Professor of Art & Architecture and Theology.
He brings a diverse cultural and academic background to the Project, with a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Master’s degrees in Computer Engineering and Information Systems.
John worked for many years in the telecommunications industry leading the Technology and Initiatives Group at Verizon Global Telecommunications, before earning a Master’s in Philosophy and Theology.
